| The
April showers may have come your way but in sunny Tenerife,
we had lovely weather. The water temperature has now reached
20 degrees C and air temperature is 25 degrees C. |

We
had a very International boat this week with divers from Poland,
U.K. and France.
Here is Colin from
the U.K. and Piotr from Poland.
Both enjoyed the
excellent deep wreck called Cita Del Mar - appointment in the
sea.
We hope to see both
of them again in the future. |
|
|
On a stormy day in
1998 the Cita Del Mar sank just off the south coast of Tenerife.
She was returning from a very successful fishing trip and was
overlaiden with tuna.
Today she sits in
39 - 55 metres and is a beautfiul natural wreck, which is home
to large rays and other marine life.
|

|
|
| We
were asked by a local film crew to visit the Cita Del Mar for
some video footage. The team of 3 complete with very large video
cameras descended into the deep blue waters for some stunning
video clips. |

Whilst the crew
were filming, to our delight along the sand came a turtle,
yes thats right! a turtle in Tenerife.
Here is the little
chap and above you can just see him on the right.

Only a few more
days left until the next Instructor Development Course commences
on 14th May 2005.
Our Course Director,
Clive Albon has completed over 200 courses both in the U.K.
and in Tenerife so he knows exactly what is required to ensure
success for the candidates. For more information click here

Lots of
new smiling faces here with Philippe and his French divers.
They were
a very happy bunch, signing songs after the dive on the way
back to the harbour at Las Galletas. It´s a shame my French
is not too good. |

Joining us for a
week of diving we welcome Martin.
Congratulations to
Martin on completing his PADI open water diver course.
....look forward
to seeing Martin again in the future.

Enriched air diving
(NITROX) is becoming more popular with divers as they become
aware of the benefits of diving with a richer mix of oxygen.
Agua Tenerife Diving Centre are the only British centre in
the South of the island to pump Nitrox onsite.

A
familiar face to Agua Tenerife Diving is Gavin, who is pictured
here after completing his PADI advanced diver course.
Gavin
has been over from the U.K. diving with us on a few occasions,
but is now heading further afield to Canada for a while.
Best wishes and have a great time.
A double take here
for one man and his dog.
I thought I had
seen everything until this scene made me laugh, a body surfer
and his canine friend enjoying an afternoon of sunshine and
fun in the water.
