Spring is in the air and the mad March hare arrived with an Easter egg and some lovely warm sunshine. He also brought us new and familar faces. |

This is a Dusty Grouper which commonly reaches a size of one metre and weighing 20 kg. Now this is the good bit! - this sequentially hermaphrodite fish is female for the first approx 8 years of its life and then turns into a male. It is very trusting in the presence of divers and loves having its photo taken.

Two familiar faces are Angela and Nick who were back diving just for pleasure this time, we look forward to seeing them again later in the year.

The Atlantic ray or more commonly known in the Canary Islands as Los chuchos (puppies) are dark coloured and can grow to over 2 metres in diameter. They mainly live on rocky/sandy sea beds where they remain motionless for long periods of time. They mainly feed on small crustaceans and molluscs. |

Enriched air diving (NITROX) is becoming more popular with divers as they become aware of the benefits of diving with a richer mix of oxygen. Agua Tenerife Diving Centre are the only British centre in the South of the island to pump Nitrox onsite. |

A double take here for twins Tim and Simon. Tim is a local diver who only recently qualified this year but his passion for diving is so great that he has just recently finished is PADI advanced diver course. His twin brother Simon was on holiday here in Tenerife and completed his PADI open water diver course. Congratulations to both and I am sure we will see more pictures of both in the coming months.
