Diving in Tenerife was sheer heaven in August when our air temperature hit 42 degrees and the water temperature a balmy 24 degrees.

It is such a good feeling when our customers come back to dive with us again and recommend our dive centre to others, it shows that the service we provide is professional but at the same time, lots of fun.We welcome back David who brought his partner Clare, who was very impressed with the beautiful clear waters of Tenerife.
From Latvia we welcome Boris & his wife Jevgenija. They were recommended by a fellow Latvian diving instructor, Sandris, who dived with us a few months ago. Whilst enjoying diving in Tenerife they also completed the PADI Deep diver speciality course.

We welcome from Russia Igor and Igor. Whilst diving in Tenerife they both completed the PADI Rescue diver course. Their panicked diver scenario certainly provided us with a few laughs.

Agua Tenerife Diving Centre provides diving instruction in English, Spanish and Polish. Jose, pictured here with Mireya & Jon, is our Spanish instructor.Mireya & Jon from mainland Spain completed their PADI Open water diver course.
We have many local divers who enjoy spending some time in the water at the weekend. If the locals enjoy diving in Tenerife then it must be good!

Completing his PADI Advanced diver course is Diego. He lives in mainland Spain and was over visiting his brother who is another of our local divers.
Enriched air diving (NITROX) is becoming more popular with divers as they become aware of the benefits of diving with a richer mix of oxygen. Agua Tenerife Diving Centre are the only British centre in the South of the island to offer this facility.

Here is an Arrow Crab.(Sternhynchus lanceolatus) It looks more like a spider than a crab, but has a small pointed body and eight legs than can be 3 or 4 times longer than the body. They generally feed at night but can be seen during the day usually underneath rocks.

We had the good fortune to meet Bent, who is part of a large diving centre in Denmark. Bent was over in Tenerife on business but wanted to do as many dives as possible during his weekend.

Diving with Nitrox enabled Bent to do 3 dives per day giving him longer bottom times. We look forward to seeing Bent in October when he returns for more diving.

...... and here is Bent with Conor our newly qualified Divemaster. Congratulations to Conor who completed his Divemaster Internship with us over the last 7 weeks.
If you would like more information regarding our Divemaster Internship programme or our Instructor Development Courses, please e-mail Yvonne or David at info@tenerifedive.com
