| Diving
in Tenerife was sheer heaven in July when our air temperature
hit 42 degrees and the water temperature a balmy 24 degrees. |

|
Throughout
June, July & August Tenerife has many local religous festivals,
where both locals and tourists join together for dancing, eating
and drinking.
They also put on
a fabulous firework display. |
| It
has become a tradition to put colourful banners and bunting
on the local boats and follow the main procession out of the
harbour. |

| We
welcome Katy & Marilyn who experienced their first time
diving in Tenerife. They were very pleasantly surprised with
the amount of fishlife and our fantastic visibility.
Congratulations to
Antony who came over to Tenerife to complete his PADI Open water diver course.
He enjoyed the diving
in Tenerife so much that he also completed his PADI Advanced open water diver course. |

Agua Tenerife Diving
Centre provides diving instruction in English, Spanish and
Polish. Jose, pictured here with Steve, is our Spanish instructor.
Steve, on holiday
from Italy, had a whale of a time. Not content with completing
one diving course, he took and passed four different diving
courses.

We
have many local divers who enjoy spending some time in the water
at the weekend. Here we have Victoria, Alfonso, Lidia and Chema.
If the locals enjoy diving in Tenerife then it must be good! |

We welcomed Amy
& Ian who spent one week diving with us here in Tenerife.
We look forward to
seeing them again in the not too distant future. |

Enriched air diving
(NITROX) is becoming more popular with divers as they become
aware of the benefits of diving with a richer mix of oxygen.
Agua Tenerife Diving Centre are the only British centre in
the South of the island to offer this facility.

A beautiful sand

| We
were very busy at the end of the month with the PADI Open water diver course. |
This
is Alex completing dive 4 of the course. He had a fantastic
time and wondered why he had not completed the course years
ago. I think we will see Alex back again in the very near future. |

Ben
completed all his theory work and pool sessions back home in the
U.K. He did not relish the thought of diving in the local lake
(and who can blame him!) so decided to enjoy our warm waters of
Tenerife for his first real scuba diving experience. |
| And
last but not least is Loreto from Madrid. Coming from mainland
Spain, Loreto had only a short flight over to the Canary Islands
for her first scuba diving experience.
Many congratulations
to all three newly qualified divers. |
