| The temperature
in Tenerife during June is hotting up, it was a beautiful 28 degrees
every day (in old money this is 82 fahrenheit). |
 |
We
had a short visit to El Hierro at the start of June. Here is
our happy group awaiting the ferry.
From back left to
front right: Mick, Phil, David, Yvonne, Jo and Issy. |
| El
Hierro is a neighbouring island to Tenerife with fabulous diving
on the South coast at La Restinga marine reserve. If you are
looking for somewhere different to take your dive club or just
a group of friends we regularly arrange group trips, just e-mail
for more information. |

This is Estaca where
the El Hierro ferry docks, it is 50 minutes by car from the
marine reserve. |
| Dave
& Kyran came over from Ireland to complete their PADI Open water diver course.
Congratulations to both and thanks for providing a few laughs
Congratulations to
Tim & Ali who are ¨´just married¨ and chose
to spend their honeymoon diving in Tenerife. We first met Tim
and Ali when they dived with us late last year. When not diving
Tim is a professional climber, see his web details on our links

Nawfal
came over to Tenerife to complete his PADI Open water diver course.
This was more preferable to completing the course back
in the U.K. Our water temperature is 21 degrees at present.
Congratulations to
Nawfal who we hope to see in the future. |
| Here
we have our group from Latvia. We thank the group leader and
instructor Sandris, for bringing over his dive club. Lots
of sign language was required and we learnt a few words of Latvian
to add to our international vocabulary.
Our warm waters of
Tenerife were perfect for completing some of his students´course´s
(eg) deep and Nitrox
We look forward to
seeing Sandris again in the near future. |

Enriched
air diving (NITROX) is becoming more popular with divers as
they become aware of the benefits of diving with a richer mix
of oxygen. Agua Tenerife Diving Centre are the only British
centre in the South of the island to offer this facility. |
| A beautiful
eagle ray spotted on one of our dive sights last week. |

|
| We have
been busy on the tourist trail again - this time to the famous
Loro Park in the North of the island. What a great family day
out no matter what the age. |
 |
 |
 |
 |
| From
Top Left - the indoor penguin area at Loro Parque is fantastic
with an ice machine making the habitat as realistic as possible
to help breeding. The dolphin show attracts lots of children
and is a firm favourite.
I would love to
say that this magnificent angel shark was seen on one of our
dive sites, but alas, it was not. We do have angel sharks but
this beautiful specimen was actually photographed at the aquarium
in Loro Parque.
Talking about beautiful
specimens what do you think of these two posing in front of
the elephant hedge. Say cheese, David and Ziggy. |
