diving in Tenerife

People who come to scuba dive in Tenerife invariably manage to get in a few other attractions too. Our divers often ask us for recommendations for a good night out and of course, that gives David and I the perfect excuse to try different places.
Medieval Night Tenerife When we are not diving, we make a point of trying different restaurants and we visit a different tourist attraction at least once a month so we know which to receommend to our customers.
Recently we rounded up a couple of friends and went to the Castillo Medieval Night. It is all set up in a mock castle and as you see from the picture, you even get your own crown. Really good fun and I am pleased to say that we will be recommending this as a good night out for our customers and friends. Castillo Medieval Night Tenerife

PADI PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) is the world´s largest scuba diving training organisation and PADI qualifications are recognised worldwide.

At Agua Tenerife Dive Centre, PADI courses are available at all levels and we can take you from absolute beginner to instructor. See the PADI courses page for more information.

Congratulations to Gavin, pictured both above and below water, who just passed his PADI Open Water Diver Open Water Diver Course which includes confined water training sessions, self study and open water dives.

East Kilbrife Scotsac We were happy to welcome back our friends from the East Kilbride Scotsac who are regular visitors. Along with the members who have been diving with us before EKSAC brought along a few new faces
Joining the group here is Terry, who successfully completed his PADI Enriched air diver course.
Enriched air diving (NITROX) is becoming more popular with divers as they become aware of the benefits of diving with a richer mix of oxygen. Agua Tenerife Diving Centre are the only British centre in the South of the island to offer this facility.
Going out with the the East Kilbride group on their visit were two of our other customers, Nick & Sarah. The only time they get together is here in Tenerife diving, so they are true diving buddies. What a great way to make new friends.
And finally from our East Kilbride group, lots of happy faces at the end of a great week. A big thank you to the organiser Ian Gray for getting everyone together.
During the year we run regular PADI Instructor Development Courses . In May, Course Director, Clive Albon, once again produced a fine batch of fully qualified PADI Diving Instructors. It is a fabulous feeling when you get to that point in your diving career and all candidates deserve a big congratulations. Here are a selection of pictures from the presentation ceremony. Just look at those smiles!
