| What
a great start to the New Year, with lots of previous customers
coming back to visit us and also meeting new diving customers.

In
January we said hello to the first time to Mike who joined us
for a few days diving in Tenerife.

| Another
two new faces to Agua Tenerife Diving are Richard and Julia.
Unfortunately at the last moment Richard´s wife was unable
to dive though for the happiest ofreasons. They are having a
baby! Congratulations are in order.
We had a great week
with Richard & Julia who provided good company and a few
laughs. We´re sure we´ll be seeing them again soon
with baby in tow. |

| The
Brown Moray Eel, Gymnothorax Unicolor, grow to 1 metre
in length. Usually found in the shadows in crevices and holes.
Although they can look ferocious they have small teeth and have
their mouths open all the time to breathe. |

Looking very relaxed
is Gary who is one of our previous customers.
Enjoying a more
comfortable seat on the floor is Morag who we meet for the
first time but look forward to seeing her again in July.

Enriched
air diving (NITROX) is becoming more popular with divers as
they become aware of the benefits of diving with a richer mix
of oxygen. Agua Tenerife Diving Centre are the only British
centre in the South of the island to pump Nitrox onsite. |

Here
we have three very happy students who successfully completed
the PADI Open water diver course.
Congratulations
to Mike, Paul and Andy who were father, son and son
in law. We hope to see them again in the future.

As
A Scottish couple we could not let Burns Night pass by on
the 25th January, without a little celebration. Here is
David in his kilt with some of our friends and family.

We
welcome back a group from London, B.I.B.S. (Big in Bubbles).
Fortunately
the weather did shine for them most of the week, here is some
of its happy smiling members who enjoyed diving in Tenerife.
Last year
we took some of the members over to El Hierro, a neighbouring
island which also has some fantastic diving.

Barracuda,
Sphyaena viridensis, tend to hang out in mid waters close
to platforms, reefs or any other feature that sticks up
from the bottom. Frequently seen in groups of varying sizes.
The sleek silver body makes them unmistakeable.
